O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.Sundresh, J.) The petitioner claiming to be a retired Associate Professor and erstwhile senate member has come forward to file this public interest litigation seeking action against respondent Nos.5 and 6 on the allegation that they are collecting excess fee by violating Sections 28 and 29 of the Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Act, 1976. The proposed action which is one to be taken by respondent No.4 and the representation having been made only to respondent No.1, we are not inclined to entertain this public interest litigation.

2. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to respondent No.4. As and when such representation is given, it is for respondent No.4 to look into the matter and take appropriate action in accordance with law. No costs.
