ORDER

This writ petition is heard through Video-Conferencing, on account of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

2. The writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondents 3 to 7 to hand over the House No.33 in Samathuvapuram situate at Kadukkapatti Village in Selliyampattu Panchayat, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District to the petitioner.

3. On 23.09.2020, this Court had ordered the respondents to ensure that the petitioner is allotted with a house site in any of the unobjectionable poromboke land nearby the area where the petitioner is residing and thereafter, recommend her for the Green House Scheme, as per which, subsidy will be given by the Government for the construction of the house.

4. Pursuant to the said order, Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos. 6 and 7 has produced the proceedings of the Tahsildar in Na.Ka.No.2346/2020/A2 dated 24.09.2020, wherein, it is stated the petitioner Palaniyammal W/o.Murugan was allotted 0.82 sq. meters of land in S.No.249/93 bearing patta No.93 in Mattiyampatti Village in Palacode Taluk.

5. Pursuant to the grant of patta, the Block Development Officer, who is the sixth respondent herein, in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1690/2019/A8 dated 25.09.2020, had granted a sum of Rs.2,10,000/- under the Green House Scheme to the petitioner herein for construction of a house.

6. Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
