ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 29.07.2019.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, a representation has been filed by one D.Murugan dated 29.07.2019 to 'cancel the Patta No.10227 dated 29.02.2024 in the name of Vasantha / 9th respondent which was fraudulently obtained for the petitioners' land and also to issue Patta in the Petitioners name for the land measuring an extent of 42 cents in Survey No.940/2, in Kundrathur Circle and Village, Kancheepuram District. Since no order passed, this Writ Petition is filed.

3. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 8 would submit that the representation dated 29.07.2019 will be disposed of by the 2nd respondent within a period of twelve weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 29.07.2019 and pass appropriate orders on the same, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In the event of any title dispute, the Authorities concerned can very well direct the parties to approach the civil Court to establish title.
