[RESPONDENT] PRAYER : Petition filed under sections 11 & 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India, to punish the respondent herein for his willful and deliberate acts of disobedience and defence of the order of this Court dated 10.03.2015 made in W.P.No.25616 of 2013 under Sections 2(d), 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971.

This contempt petition has been filed alleging the non-compliance of the order and direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.25616 of 2013 dated 10.03.2015. 2.From the written instruction which has been given by the respondent to the learned Government Advocate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

vide proceedings dated 26.09.2016, it is seen that the respondent is not the competent authority and even the Special Tahsildar, who would be entitled to deal with the files, has no jurisdiction for grant of patta. 3.In the light of the above, the Contempt Petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedies available under the provisions of the law, based on the instruction given by the respondent.
