Ilayaperumal For Respondent in both W.P.s : Mr.M.Murali Government Advocate C O M M O N O R D E R These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent / Tahsildar to issue joint patta in favour of the petitioners for the above said properties.
2. Today, when the matter is listed under the caption 'for reporting compliance', the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent / Tahsildar submitted that, the petitioners applications were rejected on the ground that the petitioners were not able to identify the boundaries of the land purchased by them in S.Nos.8/1A1A, 9/1A2A part, 9/1B1A part, 9/3A1 part, 12/1C1A1 part, 12/1C4 part, 19/2A1A and S.Nos.21/1C part, 21/2A part, 21/2B2 part, 21/2C2 part, 22/1 part, 22/2A2 part, 22/4B part, 23/2A2 part, and 22/3A2 of Manjambakkam Village, Madhavaram Taluk and the said portion of land purported to have been purchased by the petitioners in above said survey numbers in respective Writ Petitions is not peg-marked with boundary stones, fencing or compound wall. Accordingly, the learned counsel for the petitioner also ratifies the same.
3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate for respondent, no further adjudication is required in the present Writ Petitions. However, this Court, grants liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are
disposed of with the aforesaid liberty to the petitioners. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
