ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 05.02.2024 with regard to petitioner's posting to any Sub Stations Near Chengalpattu District.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner was initially appointed as Mazdoor in the TANGEDCO, Chengalpattu. Subsequently, he was promoted to the post of Wireman. In the month of February 2021, he had undergone Heart surgery. Therefore, he availed medical leave from time to time. While being so, the petitioner was transferred and posted as Wireman in Nanganallur Section. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to consider his transfer within any of the Sub Stations Near Chengalpattu District.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that on the complaint received from the general public, now the petitioner is facing disciplinary proceedings. Therefore, the representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
