This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to assess the Bill of Entry No.7308235 dated 05.07.2012 and cause release of Imported goods viz., 84.480 MTS of Secondary Defective GI Coils on such assessment and without insisting on production of a BIS certificate.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel agree that proper adjudication in this issue would be done within the stipulated time fixed by this Court after due opportunity to the petitioner. 3.In such view of the matter, necessary adjudication proceedings be conducted and the same be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing opportunity to the petitioner. 4.This writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition, if any, is closed.
