Respondent Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the Respondent for her wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 14.03.2018 made in Crl.O.P.No.7683 of 2018. For Petitioner :

O R D E R

By an order dated 14.03.2018 passed in Crl.O.P.No.7683 of 2018, this Court had directed the respondent herein to complete the investigation in FIR No.328 of 2016 and file a final report within a period of four weeks.

Alleging non compliance of the order, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was called through Video Conferencing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, submitted that FIR No.328 of 2016 pertaining to the petitioner's complaint has been closed under Section 468 Cr.P.C on 17.08.2017 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Polur.

3. In view of the same, this Court is of the opinion that the disobedience alleged against the respondent herein has not been made out. Accordingly, the present Contempt Petition stands closed.
