Seeking a direction to the second respondent to grant permission and protection to the petitioner to conduct the cultural programme in Arulmighu Sri Thidumal Mariamman Koil at Paramathivelur Taluk, Namakkal District scheduled to be held on 08.04.2020, based on the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2020, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents has drawn the attention of this Court to Clause-14 of the order passed by the Government of Tamil Nadu in G.O.(Ms.) No.347, Public Health and Welfare Department dated 16.03.2020 wherein it is stated that permissions should not be granted to conduct processions, meetings, summer classes, camps, business exhibitions, games and any other similar types of programmes involving large number of people till 31.03.2020. to the same, she submitted that the petitioner is not entitled to seek the relief as prayed for in this Criminal Original Petition.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has also accepted the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents and made an endorsement in the case bundle that he may be permitted to withdraw this Criminal Original Petition.
4.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
