ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 448 & 397 of IPC in Crime No.26 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused persons abused and attacked the defacto complainant with knife and thereby the defacto complainant sustained grievous injuries. Hence, the complaint.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that a false case has been foisted against the petitioner. Therefore, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner attacked the defacto complainant by using knife and he sustained grievous injuries. He would also submit that there is one previous case pending against the petitioner. In the light of the above submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
