The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the said writ petitions as the petitioner intends to settle the dispute under the Tamil Nadu Taxes ( Settlement of Arrears) Act, 2023.

2. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, these writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn.

3. However, the petitioner is directed to pay cost of Rs.5,000/- to the credit of Advocate Clerk's Association, High Court, Chennai, within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent, State Tax Officer, Tiruchengode, shall accept the application of the petitioner under the Tamil Nadu Taxes ( Settlement of Arrears) Act, 2023 subject to the petitioner paying the cost as ordered.
