Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 1 to consider and dispose of the representations dated 21.01.2014 and 30.10.2015 to take action on the encroachment in the land in Thiruvallur District, Madavaram Taluk, Puthagaram Village, S.No.1 totally measuring about 4 acres 89.5 cents and to evict any kind of building, hut, structure etc., in the encroached land and further direct the 12th respondent to investigate the huge unlawful money transfer regarding the encroached land by the land grabbers. O R D E R

(The Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) Learned counsel for the respondents admits that there is violation of the Government Order inasmuch as orders have not been passed within the time stipulated. Learned counsel submits that he has obtained instructions that the matter is now pending with the appellate authority under the guidelines and necessary orders will be passed in accordance with law within a maximum period of 15 days from today.

2. The said statement is taken on record and any violation of the same will be under the pain of contempt.

3. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
