O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to conduct further investigation and include all the offence committed by the accused stated in the complaint dated 16.02.2022 and the same was registered as Crime No.20 of 2022.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the complainant in Crime No.20 of 2022, registered by the respondent for the offence under Section 294(b), 324 and 506 (ii) of IPC. He would further submit that the accused have brutally assaulted the petitioner and his father-in-law with wooden log with an intention to kill the petitioner and while getting away, the accused have threatened the petitioner that they will kill the petitioner. Despite the Petitioner and his father-in-law suffering serious injuries, the respondent instead of registering the case under Section 307 of IPC, had registered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the case under Section 294(b), 324 and 506 (ii) of IPC. He would submit that since there are materials and witnesses available to show that the attack was brutally done. The respondent has not conducted the investigation in a proper manner, thereby, the present petitioner has been filed. 3.Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondents are awaiting for the wound certificate from the Hospital. Once the wound certificate is received and taking into consideration the materials available against the accused, the respondent will properly alter the case and take appropriate action against them, if necessary.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
