ORDER
With consent on either side, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

This Writ Petition has been filed for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents 2 and 3 to provide the authentic 10th Standard Mark Statement of the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Summer Examinations 2025 of the petitioner and provide the petitioner with the copy of answer scripts for the all the subjects of the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Summer Examinations 2025 which he wrote.
3. Since the petitioner is the minor and represented by his father, hereinafter, referred to petitioner's son.

According to the petitioner, the petitioner's son studied 10th standard in the school, viz., 2nd respondent, through virtual mode and the 2nd respondent follows the curriculum of the 3rd respondent and passing of the 10th standard in the said curriculum is equivalent to the passing of secondary education in India. The results for the said 10th Standard Board Examination was declared on 21.08.2025, however, the result of the petitioner's son was not declared for a very long period, however, the transfer certificate was issued indicating as 'pass' and promoted to Grade 11, therefore, the petitioner's son proceeded for Grade 11 in CBSE curriculum. When the petitioner enquired about this, it was informed that the answer scripts were misplaced, thereafter, on 16.10.
2025, the 2nd respondent produced the mark sheet, wherein out of five subjects, only results of the three subjects [Chemistry, ICT and English] were declared and results of two subjects (Physics and Maths) were not published and the petitioner's son obtained 28 out of 150 in the subject of English, which is 'fail'. Further, petitioner's son decided to proceed for revaluation and the 2nd respondent denied indicating that revaluation cannot be done and the cost for the revaluation would be double the amount of the fees, therefore, the petitioner made several representations through email and the same has not been considered, hence the present writ petition has been filed.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's son appeared for 10th Standard Board Examination Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Summer examination 2025 conducted through the 2nd respondent school, an authorised international examination centre of the 3rd respondent, as on date, the result of the petitioner's son has not been declared, to enable the petitioner to pursue XII standard, thereby pleaded to allow the present Writ Petition.

The learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent would submit that there was a malpractice in the answer sheet by nearly three students including the petitioner, for which, after examination, the answer sheets were forwarded to the 3rd respondent by the 2nd respondent and the 3rd respondent also found that there was malpractice in the answer sheet, thereby the investigation to be conducted by the 3rd respondent,. Further, the investigation has been commenced, however, investigation is not yet completed and the investigation will be completed and appropriate orders will be passed on or before 05.06.2026. On completion of the said investigation, the same will be communicated to the petitioner, thereby pleaded some more time.
7. It is to be noted that the grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's son, appeared for the 10th Standard Board Examination at Pearson
Edexel IGSCE Summer Examinations, 2025 and the petitioner's son obtained admission for 11th standard in a CBSE School in Chennai for the academic year 2025-2026 based on the transfer certificate provided by the 2nd respondent, wherein, in the transfer certificate, the result was declared 'pass'. The public exam results were declared on 21.08.2025, however, as on date result of the petitioner has not been declared. It is the contention of the learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent that there was a malpractice in the answer sheet by nearly three students including the petitioner, for which, after examination, the answer sheets were forwarded to the 3rd respondent by the 2nd respondent and the 3rd respondent also found that there was malpractice in the answer sheet, thereby the investigation to be conducted by the 3rd respondent and appropriate orders will be passed on or before 05.06.2026.

Considering the above said facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the submission of the 3rd respondent that there was malpractice in the answer sheet and the investigation will be completed on or before 05.06.2026, the 3rd respondent is directed to complete the investigation on or before 05.06.2026 ad pass appropriate orders and the same shall be communicated to the petitioner and upon such passing of orders by the 3rd respondent, the petitioner is at liberty to work out the remedy in the manner known to law.
In view of the above, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 09-04-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order ssd To
