O R D E R

(delivered by K.K. SASIDHARAN,J.) The petitioner has come up with this contempt petition to initiate proceedings against the respondents on account of their wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court.

2. The writ petition filed by the petitioner was allowed by the Writ Court by order dated 06.03.2012 in W.P.No.34169 of 2007. While dismissing the intra court appeal filed by the Management, this Court directed the respondents to pay the entire backwages to the petitioner by calculating the amount in the same way, in which, similarly placed teachers were paid by the Management. We made it clear that the petitioner should be given full pay in accordance with the relevant pay structure.

3. The petitioner initiated this contempt proceedings complaining that inspite of the specific order, the respondents failed to pay her salary and other benefits.

4. When the contempt petition is taken up for consideration today, the learned counsel for the first respondent on the basis of the counter affidavit submitted that payment has already been made to the petitioner. The

Management paid a sum of Rs.24,30,343/- to the petitioner by way of back wages. In view of the compliance of the direction given by this Court, nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt petition.
