The writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to increase the number of polling booth or to increase the polling days so as to enable https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
all the members to cast their votes with ease and to secure 100% polling in order to ensure free and fair Election by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2018 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.
When the matter was taken for hearing, Mr.M.S.Palanisamy, learned Standing counsel for the first respondent submitted that the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous since election to the second respondent society was already held on 24.4.2018. 3 In view of the submission made by the learned Standing counsel for the first respondent, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
