ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.03.2020 and to pass suitable orders for the absorption of the petitioner as permanent employee.

2. Heard Mr.M.Selvam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.I.Ahmed, learned counsel for the respondents.

3. The petitioner is said to be working as a contract labourer in the respondent Corporation from the year 1991. The grievance of the petitioner is that so far his services were not regularised. The petitioner has also sent a representation to the respondents in this regard on 24.03.2020 and on which, no orders have been passed so far.

4. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is under consideration. If short time is given, orders will be passed on the representation submitted by the petitioner. Page No.2 of 4

5. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed and the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
