ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 379 and 430 of IPC read wth 21(5) of Mines and Minerals (Development regulation) Act, 1975 and 3 of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.2404 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioners are alleged to have transported half unit of sand illegally by using Tipper Lorry without any valid licence. Hence the complaint.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent person and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the quantity of sand involved is half unit.
5. Taking into consideration the allegations and also the bad antecedent of the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
