(Made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice ) Learned senior counsel for the petitioner states that finally, they have received the cheques, but unaware of the
break-up, which would be required to be given specifically, as tax at source had been deducted.
2. Learned counsel for the respondent states that on account of paucity of time, though receipts were issued showing the total amount of tax deducted, the break-up under different heads could not be issued. The respondent present in Court undertakes to issue the break-up to each of the persons within a maximum period of one month from today.
3. The aforesaid undertaking is taken on record.
4. In case any person is desirous of seeing the service register, the same will be shown by the concerned authorities who will make available a copy of the relevant extract of service register if sought by the parties.
5. In view of the unconditional apology tendered by the respondent (a copy of the same has been made available to us in Court, as the original is not available in the record and the learned counsel to take steps to bring the same on record), we close the proceedings and discharge the contemnor.
6. The issue of pension sought to be raised by the
learned senior counsel for the petitioner is a different issue which has a larger ramification, especially as it is an issue affecting Government Servants across the board and thus, it is open to the petitioner to take out appropriate proceedings for the same independently.
