Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the revision dated 22.04.2017 and assign the land and issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the land of an extent of 0.23.5 Hecs in S.No.146/7 in Thandalai (North) Village Taluk, Villupuram District.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court, is that the said revision has not been disposed of so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the 1st respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the revision of the petitioner dated 22.04.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the affected parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the 1st respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
