ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- " directing the second respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation dated 28/11/2025 to regularize the services of the petitioner on completion of 3 years of service from dated of his original appointment i.e. with effect from 1.03.1994 in the light the orders passed by the first respondent herein in GO(D) No. 609 Municipal Administration and water supplies (MC3) department dated 17/10/2025 with all consequential service and monetary benefits within a time frame as deem fit and proper by this Honble court."
2. The case of the petitioner is that in March 2021, he was severely affected by hepatitis. During the course of medical examination, it was found that his health condition had deteriorated following COVID-19 treatment, and he developed digestive disorders. Therefore, his doctor advised complete bed rest and in accordance with the said advice, the petitioner underwent treatment in the local hospital.
3. After recovering from the said ailments, the petitioner submitted representations along with medical certificates on 16.02.2024 and 28.11.2025, requesting permission to rejoin duty. However, despite submitting the said representations, the respondents have not considered the same and no orders have been passed till date. Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 5.
Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner and also taking note of the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2025 has not been considered to date, the Writ Petition is allowed. The 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
