ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent dated 15.10.2019 in G.O.No.(1D) No.502, Public (Foreigners-II) Department and to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to set the petitioner's husband namely Prem Kumar at liberty and to permit him to stay as out refugee with his family under Section 4(2) of Foreigners Act, 1946.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the said Prem Kumar who was detained in the Special Camp as per the orders of the Principal Secretary to Government of Tamil Nadu in G.O.(1D) No.502, Public (Foreigners-II) Department, dated 15.10.2019, has already been released.

3. In such view of the matter, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 04.07.2022 Index: Yes/No Internet: Yes/No ksa-2
