PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records, relating to the petitioner's husband detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order, dated 18.02.2020 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings C3/D.O/18/2020, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's husband namely Nallan, S/o.Ramasamy, aged 56 years before this Court and set the petitioner's husband at liberty from detention , now the petitioner's husband detained at Central Prison, Cuddalore.

(Order of the court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN.J.,) The matter was heard through "Video Conference". 2.The Petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in No.C3/D.O./18/2020 dated 18.02.2020 detaining his husband as "Bootlegger", as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O. Rt. No.1821, Home, Prohibition ane Excise (XII) Department, dated 21.04.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
