ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to act upon the on-line application submitted by the petitioner on 23.01.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries. 2.

Heard Mr.J.Muthukumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2. 3.

The petitioner is claiming right over the property by virtue of a settlement deed dated 10.03.2014 which was executed in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner is also placing reliance upon the patta that stands in the name of the petitioner's husband. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the property for demarcation of boundaries. Accordingly, on-line

application was submitted on 23.01.2025 after paying necessary charges. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be direction to the 2 nd respondent to act upon the on-line application submitted on 23.01.2025 and conduct the survey in line with the title document and the patta that stands in the name of the petitioner's husband. This process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any rival claimants, the survey shall be conducted in their presence.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
