ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2025 submitted against the third respondent under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, (in short "Senior Citizens Act"), within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner is a senior citizen, aged 80 years. She has lodged a complaint against the third respondent as per the provisions of the Senior Citizen Act before the second respondent.

3. Mrs.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse orders are passed against the third respondent, notice to the third respondent in this writ petition is dispensed with.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the official respondents if they are directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the third respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits

and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2025 submitted under the provisions of the Senior Citizens Act against the third respondent, after hearing the objections of the third respondent, and after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the respective parties, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid representation of the petitioner. No Costs.
