ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to direct the Sub Judge Court at Tiruchengode to dispose the case in S.C.No.145 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible. 1/4

2. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that trial in S.C.No.145 of 2018 was over and it is now pending for questioning under Section 313 of Cr.P.C from 29.09.2022. Despite that, accused were not questioned under Section 313 of Cr.P.C. Infact, eleven occasions, the matter was adjourned from 29.09.2022 to 16.03.2023. He further submitted that, accused are regularly appearing before the Court. Despite that, questioning is not completed.

3. In response, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that appropriate orders will be passed.

4. This Court does not understands as to why the Court has to adjourn questioning under Section 313 of Cr.P.C from 29.09.2022 to 16.03.2023. Therefore, this Court directs the learned Sub Judge at Tiruchengode to complete the questioning on the next date of hearing and proceed to dispose the case within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
