ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the Principal District and Sessions judge, Thiruvannamalai (Special Court for SC/ST Cases) to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day on merits in accordance with law of his surrender in connection with Crime No.13 of 2026 on file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials on record.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant belongs to a Schedule Caste Community and she had an intercaste marriage. While so, the petitioner allegedly abused the defacto complaint with filthy language and also called her by caste name. Hence, the present complaint.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner have been falsely implicated in the present case.

5. In view of the above factual position, there shall be a direction to the Principal District and Sessions judge, Thiruvannamalai (Special Court for SC/ST Cases) to consider the petitioner's bail application, preferably on the

same day of his surrender, in connection with Crime No.13 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent Police and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to the victims under Section 15-A of the SC/ST (PoA) Act, 1989. The petitioner shall surrender before the jurisdictional Court concerned within a period of fifteen days from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order.
