This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Muthupettai and the Inspector of Police, Edaiyur Police Station to provide police protection based on the

order made in Pa.Ve.154/21/A3 dated 14.07.2021 on the file of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mannargudi to carry out agricultural and allied activities in the patta land in Survey No.642/11 to 642/15, 644/1, 644/3, 644/7 to 644/12 at Kunnallur Village, Thiruthuraipoondi Taluk,

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the fourth respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 07.10.2024, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 5 to 9, in the light of the order passed by the third respondent dated 14.07.2021, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
