ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.22 of 2013 on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Krishnagiri, Krishnagiri District to the file of the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Krishnagiri, Krishnagiri District.

2.Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Mrs.P.Kritika Kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Though the petitioners have sought for transfer of investigation, the ground raised by them is that there is no considerable progress in the investigation.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions submitted that the delay in filing the final report is because of the non-cooperation of the petitioners in the investigation.

5. In my view, if a time limit is fixed for filing final report, the ends of justice would be met. It is made clear that the petitioners shall co-operate in the investigation and they shall report before the second respondent on 26.03.2018.

6. Hence, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to to complete the investigation in Crime No.22 of 2013 pending on his file and file a final report, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. This Criminal Original Petition is ordered, accordingly.
