concerned and consequently direct the first respondent herein namely the Government of Tamil Nadu rep. by the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Home(Prisons.II) Department, Fort St. George, Chennai- 600 009, to issue suitable Government orders to the effect of regularising the services of the petitioner from the date of her initial appointment namely 29.01.1998 in the post of temporary female Escort Warder with attendant, service and monetary benefits from the said date by creating a supernumerary post/sanctioned post from the above said date and consequential promotions to the various posts of Chief Head Warder, Assistant Jailor and Deputy Jailor and consequently direct the first respondent to pay the resultant arrears from the said date within a timeframe that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER
Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition and he has also made an endorsement in the petition to that effect. 2.In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
