ORDER

The petitioner/accused was convicted by the trial court in STC.No.29 of 2023 on 10.03.2025. The petitioner preferred an appeal in Crl.A.No.52 of 2025 and a suspension of sentence petition in Crl.M.P.No.1322 of 2025. The learned Sessions Judge by order dated 05.06.2025 admitted the appeal and suspended the sentence of the petitioner by imposing conditions. One such condition was that the petitioner to deposit 20% of the compensation amount i.e., Rs.2,40,000/- within a period of one month from 05.06.2025. Thereafter, the

petitioner had filed another petition in Crl.M.P.No.2048 of 2025 seeking extension for a further period of two weeks. This petition has also been ordered and the time was extended for a period of two weeks from 08.07.2025 and the case was posted for compliance of the condition on 22.07.2025. As neither the petitioner nor his counsel entered appearance and the amount was not deposited, Crl.M.P.No.1322 of 2025 was dismissed. Hence, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is now ready and willing to deposit the amount as ordered by the lower appellate court in Crl.M.P.No.1322 of 2025 on 08.07.2025 and seeks 10 days' time to deposit the same. He also seeks permission to execute the security bonds as directed in Crl.M.P.No.1322 of 2025 on 08.07.2025.

3. In the view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, two weeks' time from today is granted to comply with the conditions made in Crl.M.P.No.1322 of 2025 on 08.07.2025.. It is made clear that no further adjournments or extension of time will be granted. In any event, the petition shall stand dismissed without further notice.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
