ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking bail for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 324, 364-A, 365 and 506 (ii) of IPC.

2. The case of the prosecution is that this petitioner along with three others have abducted the defacto complainant, confined him in a Cashew grove of the other accused Sivamani and tortured him for extracting money. Thereafter, the father of the Sivamani and his relative have rescued this petitioner. This petitioner has taken treatment as in-patient in Government hospital at Kurunjipadi, where on intimation, the respondent police has registered a complaint. The petitioner was arrested on 14.02.2022 and two more accused are still at large and yet to be secured.

3.From the F.I.R., this Court finds that there are few more persons, though not named in the F.I.R., involved in this crime and since the investigation is at very crucial stage, the release of this petitioner will lead to destruction of evidence.
