Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents 1 to 4 to consider and pass orders by holding an enquiry on the representation dated 21.11.2022 seeking initiation of appropriate action against the 5th respondent Hospital, which is being run without possession of the mandatory requirements in a Marriage Hall on merits and within a stipulated time.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Heard Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1, 2 and 4; and Mr.P.Srinivas, learned counsel for the third respondent.
2. Alleging that the fifth respondent hospital is being run in a marriage hall without obtaining the mandatory permissions, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondent authorities on 21.11.2022. As the said representation did not evoke any response, the present writ petition is filed.
3. Learned State Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the fifth respondent had obtained all the requisite permissions from the competent authorities for running the hospital. He also placed on record the copies of the certificates to substantiate the aforesaid submission.
4. The third respondent has also filed a counter affidavit, wherein it is specifically stated that the fifth respondent had obtained necessary permission for running the hospital from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board and the Fire and Rescue Services.
5. In the light of the submissions made by learned counsel for the respondents and the documents produced before this court, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. (R.M.D., ACJ.) (M.S.Q., J.) 13.06.2024 Index :
