This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 17.01.2022 in accordance with law within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court.

Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. In view of the limited relief sought for in this petition, on the consent expressed by the Learned counsel appearing for either side, taken up for final disposal. 3.
The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father one J.James had purchased the property measuring an extent of 1 Acre in Old Survey No.630, New Survey No.630/2, situated at Panchatchipuram Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District under a registered Sale Deed dated 23.12.1986 at the SRO, Hosur. Subsequently, the petitioner's father died on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
05.05.1989. However, the patta was issued in the name of the petitioner's father as D.John S/o J.James. But, the petitioner's grand father name is D.John and the petitioner's father name is J.James. Therefore, to rectify the error in the patta, the petitioner made a representation dated 17.01.2022. However, till date, no order has been passed on the same. Hence, this present petition is filed.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.01.2022 and may pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, would submit that the representation made by the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits within the time frame to be fixed by this court. 6.
In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.01.2022 and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
