The Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the II Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the petition in OP.No.2639 of 2016 within the time limit fixed by this Court.

According to the revision petitioner, the revision petitioner has filed a petition in OP.No.2639 of 2016. In the aforesaid petition, the respondent has filed counter statement. The

learned counsel for the revision petitioner would submit that the respondent has not cooperated for the disposal of the above petition and was absent for more than one year. Therefore, the Civil Revision Petition has been filed for the above said prayer.

2. In view of the above facts and submissions made by the learned counsel for the revision petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the II Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the above petition in OP.No.2639 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of ten months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

3. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with above direction. No costs.
