ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) This petition is the wife of one Mr.Muthukumar. According to the petitioner, Mr.Muthukumar has been found missing from 19.01.2017 onwards. In this regard, on a complaint made by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Cr.No.38 of 2017 on the file of the respondent. Since the detenu has not been secured, the petitioner has come up with this habeas corpus petition.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there is no illegal confinement and due to domestic quarrel between the petitioner and Mr.Muthukumar, he left the home. He further submitted that all efforts are being made to trace the detenu. 3.
Recording the above submission, we find there is no illegal detention and we find no reason to reject the submission https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. Since we are fully convinced that there is no illegal detention, no relief could be granted to the petitioner. Hence, the habeas corpus petition is dismissed with a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation.
