ORDER

This application has been filed seeking permission to adduce evidence through video conferencing from Delhi.

2. The learned counsel for the applicant would submit that the petitioner is aged about 86 years and is a senior citizen suffering from age-related ailments. It is further submitted that she is presently residing at Delhi, and owing to her advanced age and medical condition, she is not in a position to travel and appear before this Court in person. Hence, the present application has been filed seeking permission to adduce evidence through video conferencing.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant and also taking note of the advanced age and medical condition of the applicant, this Court is inclined to permit the request.

4. Accordingly, this application is disposed of permitting the applicant to adduce evidence through video conferencing from Delhi before the Master-III of this Court, in accordance with the Madras High Court Video Conferencing Rules, 2020, subject to the procedure prescribed therein. 09-03-2026 MRP
