Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the writ petitioner had died and the legal heirs had not contacted him for taking steps to substitute themselves on record and hence, the writ petition may be closed and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed, however, reserving the liberty to the legal heirs to take necessary steps if they are interested in pursuing the matter. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
