O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the compliance report filed by the District Collector, Cuddalore.

2. From the Revenue records and photographs filed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ along with Compliance Report, it is seen that the road in

question has been formed and the encroachments have been cleared.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as per the Revenue records, the width of the road is 40feet and present road, which has now been cleared of the encroachments, is not to the fullest width.

4. If that be the case, it is for the petitioner to make a further representation, since the direction issued in the Writ Petition was only to consider the representation and take action for removal of encroachment which appears to have been done by the respondents. Hence, the Contempt Petition stands closed with the above observations. No costs.
