O R D E R

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent made a submission that the order passed by this Court, dated 15.06.2012 made in W.P.No.9521 of 2012 has been complied with.

2.In this regard the Letter No.100/Adm-I/A4/F.CL/2017, dated:09.09.2017, by the respondent/Superintending Engineer, Dharmapuri (Electricity Distribution Circle) is produced.

3.However, the learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the respondent has not considered the merits of the case and agreed to consider the claim of the petitioner based on the order passed by this Court dated 15.06.2012 in W.P.No.9521 of 2012.

4.Thus, this Court cannot adjudicate the matter on the merits and de-merits of the case in the contempt petition. However, on a reading of paragraph 4 of the order passed in W.P.No.9521 of 2012 dated 15.06.2012, it is made clear that the respondent is willing to consider the claim of the petitioner.

5.Thus, no further adjudication is required in this Contempt Petition. However, it is left open to the writ petitioner to adjudicate the matter in the manner known to law. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed. No costs.
