Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent herein to permit the petitioner to have bunk shop near Ashok Pillar, Opposite to Udayam Theater near Fire Service Station in K.K.Nagar, Chennnai pursuant to the representation dated 24.02.2017.

O R D E R

Prayer in the Writ petition is to issue direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.04.2017.

2. According to the petitioner, he is a physically challenged person and he got married 10 years back and out of the wedlock he had three children. The petitioner further submitted that he has studied only up to 10th standard and with the minimum of educational qualification and disability, he found it difficult to get employment and facing many difficult to maintain his family. and his wife have decided to have a small bunk shop in and around their area for their avocation.

3. The petitioner would further state that he has given a representation to all the respondents on 19.04.2017 and the same was duly received by them. Even then the respondents have not considered the petitioner's representation and the same is pending. Since no order was passed in the said representation, the present writ petition is filed.

4. Heard Mr.T.Muruganantham, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Counsel for the respondents.

5. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.04.2017, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
