ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her family members. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had given hand loan for a total sum of Rs.18 lakhs to Heymavathi on several occasions and in installments for the purpose of developing business and buying lands. The said Heymavathi failed to repay the loan amount borrowed from the petitioner. Hence a legal notice was sent. The said notice was duly acknowledged by her and after which the said Heymavathi went to the shop of the petitioner's husband and abused him in filthy language and threatened him with dire consequences. a complaint dated 06.12.2018 before the respondent police to take action against the said Heymavathi. The respondent police also conducted enquiry and obtained the undertaking in writing. Again on 02.03.2019, the petitioner received a threatening phone call from Heymavathi. The Heymavathi is threatening the petitioner and her family members continuously. Hence seeking for appropriate relief.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the complaint was registered by the respondent police in C.S.R.No.131 of 2019 and after conducting enquiry the same was closed.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

5.It is seen that there is a money dispute between the petitioner and the counter part. In this regard, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police. The respondent after receipt of the said complaint, registered the same in C.S.R.No.131 of 2019, conducted enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner and closed the complaint after investigation. Since the dispute between the petitioner and the counter part is civil in nature, this court directs the petitioner to approach the Civil Court for appropriate remedy.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal original Petition stands closed.
