The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the second respondent Bank to sanction the educational loan to the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the family of the petitioner is in indigence situation. The father of the petitioner is unemployed and the mother is suffering from illness. Due to the fact that the petitioner was not in a position to pay the College fees, he discontinued the Course and the College has not returned the certificate. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner lamented by stating that if the educational loan was sanctioned during the appropriate time, the petitioner would have completed his Engineering course. However, the petitioner has not taken any steps to list the matter for hearing during the appropriate time. Therefore, the Writ Petition was listed in the year 2015 and thereafter, steps have not been taken. However, the fact remains that the petitioner has discontinued the Engineering course. Under these circumstances, the question of considering the relief as sought for in this Writ Petition at this length of time would not arise at all.
