Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to conduct proper enquiry regards and issue passport to the petitioner application vide No.MA1061713191712 dated 17.12.2012 pending not disposed from 17.12.2012 onwards on considering the petitioner representation dated 29.10.2013 within a stipulated period of time. ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a Mandamus directing the respondent to conduct proper enquiry and issue passport to the his application, dated 17.12.2012, by considering his representation dated 29.10.2013 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
