.. Respondent Prayer: This Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 70/71 to punish the respondents for having committed contempt of Court for disobeying the order dated 10.06.2009 and made in W.P.No.43207 of 2006 (O.A.No.3524 of 1999).

O R D E R

Alleging disobedience of the order made in W.P.No.43207 of 2006 (O.A.No.3524 of 1999) dated 10.06.2009, contempt petition is filed.

2. On 10.03.2015, when the contempt petition was listed, on the basis of the proceedings, in R.C.No.3076/A1/99 dated 09.03.2015 of the Chief Educational Officer, Cuddalore District, it was brought to the notice of this Court that services of the petitioner as Office https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Assistant have been regularised from 06.02.1998 onwards. Mr.Balamurali, currently the Chief Educational Officer, Cuddalore District, present in the Court submitted that arrears of salary and other benefits due and payable to the petitioner would be settled, provided some time is granted. Thus, the matter is listed today.

3. On this day, when the matter came up for hearing, on the basis of the instructions in R.C.No.3076/A1/2015 dated 27.03.2015 of the Chief Educational Officer, Cuddalore, Mr.I.Arockiyasamy, learned Government Advocate submitted that having regard to the date of regularisation of the services of the petitioner, a sum of Rs.4,29,027/- has been remitted to the petitioner's account by ECS. To prove the same, he has produced xerox copy of the details, which shall form part of the record.

4. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to proceed further with the contempt petition and the same is closed. No costs.
