ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the person and body of the petitioner's wife Geetha, aged about 22 years before this Court and set her at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2.The petitioner is the husband of the detenue, who is stated to have left the matrimonial home along with her certificates, jewels and ATM Card.

3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that prima facie it appears to be a case of voluntarily leaving the matrimonial home due to the discord between the petitioner and the detenue. The occurence happened in the year 2018.

4. In such view of the matter, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending any longer and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. However, the respondent/police shall proceed with the investigation. As and when the detenue is secured, she should be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
