Petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition challenging the Award dated 09.07.2012 passed by the 1st Respondent in C.P.No.113 of 2003, and for a consequential direction to compute the amount as per his Claim Petition towards backwages and other accrued benefits.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner produced the Memorandum of Settlement dated 09.08.2019 arrived at between the parties under Section 2(p) read with Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and Rule 25(1) of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Disputes Rules, 1958.

This Writ Petition is ordered in terms of the Memorandum of Settlement dated 09.08.2019 and the said Memorandum of Settlement shall form part of the order. No costs.
