Respondents Prayer:- This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 15.10.2014 in memo No.1531/2014 against the petitioner's husband, the detenu herein, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and to set aside the same and to direct the respondents to produce the detenu , Sasi @ Sasikumar @ Snake, son of Jaishankar, aged about 25 years, before this Court and to set him at liberty. ORDER

The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu Sasi @ Sasikumar @ Snake, son of Jaisankar, aged about 25 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 15.10.2014 against her husband branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Black https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 [ Act 7 of 1980].

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 15.10.2014 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.6797, Home, Prohibition & Excise (X) Department dated 10.12.2014 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
