Father Xavier Associates for R3 Order The writ petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the 1st and 2nd respondent to arrange admission of L.K.G. Standard of the petitioners son in Infant Jesus Metric Higher Secondary School, Kumar Nagar, Tiruppur which is under the administration of 3rd respondent based on her representation dated 03.01.2026.

2. Case of the petitioner is that the petitioner got married with one John Nirmal Prabhu @ Nirmal Prabhu as per Christian rites and customs. They begotten three children, two daughters and one son. Since there was dispute between the petitioner and her husband, they got separated. The petitioner is living along with his three children in Tiruppur and working in a private company for meager salary. Her two daughters are studying in Infant Jesus Matric Higher Secondary School and her son is now 4 years old. The petitioner decided to join her son in L.K.G. in the very same School. Hence, she approached the 3rd respondent, who is the Correspondent of the School and given the application for admission of her Son. But, the 3rd respondent refused to admit her son, stating that her husband opposed for the admission of her son

into the 3rd respondent School. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation dated 03.01.2026 to the respondents 1 and 2. Since, the said representation has not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a destitute woman and without the support of her husband, she is running family and nurturing her children and hence, if her son is admitted in the above said school, it would greatly help her save both time and money and hence prays for appropriate orders in that regard.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioner and her husband may be permitted to appear before the 3rd respondent School. The School may thereafter hear both parties and pass orders regarding admission on the basis of their consent.

5. In view of the fair submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the petitioner and her husband to appear before the 3rd respondent School within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon such appearance, the 3rd respondent School shall hear both parties and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, with regard to the admission of the petitioner's son.
