O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed for non-compliance of the order passed by this Court dated 28.03.2016 made in W.P.No.11293 of 2016, wherein this Court directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.03.2016 and pass appropriate orders/take appropriate action, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has drawn the attention of this Court to the compliance report https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ filed by the respondent, wherein it has been stated that on

receipt of the petition from the petitioner, the respondent called for an enquiry and enquired the petitioner in person on 06.06.2016 and obtained related records and since there are connected civil suits pending in District Munsif Court, Udumalpet and due to the General Election to Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, orders could not be passed immediately and that the respondent was given an opportunity of reasonable hearing and order was passed by the respondent in Ref.No.Na.Ka.11293/2016/A1 and thus the order passed by this Court has been complied with.

3. Since the order passed by this Court has been complied with, nothing survives for adjudication. Hence, this Contempt Petition is closed.
